Our small farm in
Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia follows its own path.
We create unique, beautiful and practical kitchen, home and garden accessories from our farm woodlot while managing our forest under strict practices designed to restore the Acadian forest type and create diverse habitat for native plants, birds and animals.
We also make natural handmade cold process soaps from certified organic pure plant oils. Our soaps are a rich, luxurious but unfussy vegan product which arose from the need to protect and nourish our work- and sun- challenged skin. We utilize our own flowers and herbs to enhance the skin care qualities of our soaps.
We also grow pesticide free highbush blueberries and vegetables including patty pan and other specialty summer squashes and fully cured winter squashes.
Our goal is to produce useful and practical products in an environmentally sustainable manner from the resources available to us.
All of our wood products come from responsibly managed woodlands using trees from blowdowns and beaver damage or from thinning operations that were conducted to improve forest stands. We strive to create beautiful and useful products that foster a greater appreciation of the value of Nova Scotia woodlands. Our woodlot is FSC® certified. We belong to the Acadian Forest Keepers, a forest management group in Maritime Canada dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the natural Acadian Forest.

Our products are available on Saturdays at the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market and at the Halifax Forum Farmers Market. A selection of our products is also available at SeaBlooms in Tantallon. In Tatamagouche, our products are available at the Raven Gallery, and in River John our products are available at Lismore Sheep Farm Wool Shop. Our products are also available at the farm gate
with prior order. We offer delivery of Garden Raised Beds and Grow Bag Containers in the Metro Halifax area
on market days.
